Charts belong to their rights holders
Firezone keeps the charts its users bring. Users may upload only charts they have the right to use, and the terms say so. Firezone does not sell licences to show or perform songs.
Nothing is shared between users
A song is seen only inside the team that owns it, and by the people its leader lets into a live session, for that session. Joining a session never copies a chart into anyone's library, and the copies on guests' devices are removed when the session ends. There is no public song catalogue with words: the shared catalogue that helps users fill in a song's details holds credits only (titles, artists, songwriters and CCLI numbers), never the words.
Credits everywhere
A song's credits (songwriters, copyright and CCLI number) are shown on every chart, singer's phone, screen, PDF and export.
Ask for a song to be taken down
If you hold the rights to a song, or act for whoever does, and it is on Firezone without permission, send us a takedown request. Tell us:
- who you are, and how we can reach you;
- which song: its address on Firezone if you can see it, or its title and where you saw it;
- why it should come down;
- and confirm that you hold the rights or are authorised to act for whoever does, and that what you tell us is accurate.
We review every request, take down songs that should not be here, and answer you by email. We may close the account of anyone who keeps uploading songs without the right to use them.
Rights holders can also write to info@mediamax.dk.
